Alice Montalvo-Tribue, the Genius behind “of Love” Series

Okay, so I have a confession.  I’m am completely, utterly, obsessed with Author Alice Montalvo-Tribue and her characters. It all started with an innocent read, and slowly turned into complete stalker tendencies.  What can I say, I am fully addicted, and I never want to be cured.  Alice is completely amazing in how she can make words pop off a page and make the reader feel all that her characters are feeling. Let’s address the elephant in the room.  Can an author top a knockout performance on a debut novel?  Without a doubt, the answer is yes!  Mrs. Montalvo-Tribue is perfect proof of that. I’ve been privileged enough to get a sneak peak at Jordan and Alex’s turn at the lead and all I can say is, HOLY HELL!  Any reader of this series will either have a VERY happy significant other or will keep their favorite sex toy company consultant in business for a long time (no joke!). Don’t believe me, check these passages out… “I bring my arms around his neck and hug him tight, he comes to a stop and hugs me back. I guess it’s my way of bringing him a little bit of comfort even if he didn’t ask for it or need it. I need to give it to him, to tell him that he matters the only way I know how. I know it’s not what he wants but it’s all I have to give right now, maybe ever.” ~Desperation of Love by Alice Montalvo-Tribue “I try to fight the tears, I really do but I can’t control it, one escapes and rolls down my cheek. Alex catches it, wiping it away with his thumb. “Why are you crying princess?” He questions.  “Because I wish I could take away everything that has hurt you.”  “You have.” He says, lowering his face to mine, probing my lips apart with his tongue. It’s these moments with Alex when I feel like I can finally let myself be free to be who I want to be.” ~Desperation of Love by Alice Montalvo-Tribue “I’m scared babe.” I confess. He places a kiss on my forehead, leads me back over to the chairs and motions for me to sit. He doesn’t say anything, doesn’t tell me not to be afraid, not to feel what it is that I’m feeling. He just accepts what I say and lets me know that I’m...

Status update for Three of Diamonds

It pains me to have to announce this, but Three of Diamonds will not be ready for release by the end of July.  Trust me no one is more upset about this than I am.  But truth be told, it just isn’t ready.  I want to deliver the best story I can, and unfortunately I am just unable to do so right now.  I hope you will understand how hard this is for me, as well as continue to support the release of Wes and Lola’s...

Lynetta Halat aka The skyrocketing Indie!

Okay, if you have not heard of this AMAZING book, all I can say is, you live under a rock! This fabulous, genuine, sweet, honest and complete wonderful woman has written the most unbelievable story.  Lynetta Halat will keep Kleenex in business for YEARS! A little birdie told me (well, uh okay, it was Lynetta) that she is releasing a much anticipated epilogue and BONUS scene.  And, if THAT wasn’t enough to make you want to roll over and experience an “O” than this surely will; if you purchased the book without these additions, she is giving them to you FOR FREE!!!!  I don’t know about you but I plan on puckering up and kissing her sweet little southern toes for that! So, if you haven’t checked it out yet, what the goodness heck are you waiting for? ~MY REVIEW~ 5 STARS Every Rose can be described in one word: Fantastic! Mrs. Halat has exceeded every standard set forth by debut authors.  Her story was loving, her characters were relatable, and her talent is so evident on every page. She tells a story of two souls who were entwined from a young age and then destined to cross paths again, years later.  I was emotional, I was engaged, but above all I was entertained.  I found myself rooting for the characters to overcome their demons but also to find salvation in each other, and that is exactly what they did.  I dare anyone not to become emotional invested in this book themselves.  If you believe in destiny and fate, then this beautiful story is a must read for you.  The only thing I will give a warning on is, do not attempt to read this without a large supply of tissues near by.  I’m awarding this five stars, because I truly feel this story deserves it.  I loved this book!...

Reviews are VERY important.

One thing I can say about my journey of writing is, I’m learning as I go.  Another is, I found that people do, in fact, judge books by their covers.  As you know, I’ve recovered the first two installments in my Hamden Series, and I can’t tell you how EXCITED I am about them. However, one of the downsides of this is that my reviews did not slide over with them on retail sites.  I’m asking for all who reviewed to go back and post again, as well as anyone who hasn’t, what better opportunity than now to do so.  Then I thought, why stop there. I could speak for authors on a whole, but I won’t, I’ll only speak of me.  When I started this craziness of writing, I never thought the little world in my head would become a “known” thing.  Saying, “Hamden” and people knowing what the heck I’m talking about is completely heart stopping, but utterly amazing all at the same time. The words flowed and soon I realized, holy crow, I’m about to release my third book! I think back to all the sleepless nights, the “five more minutes” comments to my husband, which actually turned into four hours.  Of the episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Sofia the First or Doc McStuffin that I had my kids watch to entertain themselves so I could finish a scene.  Especially, of all the constant chattering and unending demand of opinions of my friends and family, who have read my work. (sorry if I offended anyone)  Basically. I took time out of my life, away from my family, from other things, to do THIS.  That time I will never get back, and I’m okay with that because I’m PROUD of what I’ve done.  I get they are not everyone’s cup of tea, but that’s okay too.  Can’t take away from what I’ve accomplished.  Heck, Stephanie Meyers, J.K. Rowling, and E. L. James aren’t everyone’s idea of perfection. You will see authors and bloggers make a point to tell you, “the biggest compliment you could give an author is taking two minutes and write a review”.  I can not stress this enough.  Nothing could be more truthful. Don’t get me wrong, I would love all five star reviews, but I know that isn’t going to happen, but I would LOVE to know what YOU thought of my little world.  Whether it is just a...
